The Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia presented the final outputs of the project at the occasion of the international fair in Celje (Slovenia), 12.09.2019. At the so called »SCALE(up)ALPS corner« the BSOs and SMEs got the chance to get familiar with the project results as well as they got information on the forthcoming activities beyond the project duration, namely with the scaleup network partneship. About EminaThe Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia (CCSBS) is an umbrella organisation comprising the craft and small business chamber system jointly with 62 regional chambers of craft and small business. CCSBS and the regional chambers of craft and small business are independent legal entities managed by craftsmen – officials (functionaries) – on a voluntary basis. The Our mission The CCSBS acts and communicates with the public to support and promote the traditional values of its members; hard work, effort, perseverance, honesty, honour, ethics, quality and excellence, and knowledge and innovation. The Chamber advocates preserving the tradition and peculiarities of small business. It provides for an equal role of regional chambers of craft and small business and offers full expert support and assistance to its members. The key role in the Chamber is played by professional sections because they represent the foundation for linking craftsmen. The Chamber uses its efforts in Slovenia and Europe to improve the conditions for doing business in craft, micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. Craftsmen and their chamber have become an equal partner in the dialogue with the government and trade unions.
On Friday, 5.th July 2019 in Ljubljana, Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia (CCSBS) organized a meeting of New Alpe Adria Chamber Network (NAA), consisting of chambers from Austria, Italy, Croatia and Slovenia. The meeting was the first step for searching for potentials of collaboration on scaleup. The meeting was an excellent opportunity to build up the contacts of the scale up community in the Scale(up)Alps project.
In the beginning of May 2019 on the Slovenia coast, in Portorož, Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia (CCSBS) organized the event "How to enable a dynamic and coordinated support eco system for scale-up companies?" within the framework of the project SCALE(up)ALPS, which is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund program through the Interreg Alpine Space program. The event addressed the SME and innovative support environment, start-up / scale-up companies, professional public, as well as to all those interested in the topic and who are somehow active in this field.
