During the local policy Action Group Meetings in Krems (08/11/2017) and in Munich (22/11/2017) important topics for a Scaleup Alpine Space Action Plan were discussed. Three areas of main interest emerged: 1. Scaleup Marketing and Access to markets, 2. Scaleup Financing and Access to Finance for Scaling Up and 3. Talent Management and Active Sourcing.



Regarding the three areas IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems set up Stakeholder Trainings (offered January 2018 – April 2018) and created SASA (Scaleups Alpine Space Ambassador) a certified Scaleup Community programme in order to build a community of engaged people with regard to Scaleups.

Three steps need to be fulfilled from the community member to be a certified ambassador: 1. A member needs to demonstrate community engagement (e.g. online postings about scaleups), 2. Should be willing to learn about scaleups (e.g. participation in stakeholder trainings, webinars, microlearning programme about scaleups, nitroevents) and 3. Prove the knowledge by taking a short test or provide an eportfolio. After these 3 steps have been completed we will provide certificates (e.g. for students they are relevant as extracurricular activities).

A special chapter is targeted to students: In March 2018 the SASA will involve students in the community building because they are also potential candidates for recruiting. The application for the programme can be done by using this platform.
